Bionic Eye
A new invention idea using quantum dots can improve vision by stimulating the retina to respond to light.
As our population ages, impaired vision caused by damaged retinas has increased.
Jeffrey Olsen, of the University of Colorado Hospital, has invented light amplifying "quantum" dots. This use of nanotechnology increases the light received by the retina so that images are brighter.
The "quantum" dots fluoresce when hit by photons so the images are more visible to functioning light sensitive cells.
The dots act as semiconductors and are implanted into the retina. They are much smaller than silicon chips.
Hover-bike
Modern inventions for flying include this hovercraft that rides like a motorcycle.
It's like a Star Wars inspired Imperial Speeder Bike. The Aero-X hovers above the ground at a maximum altitude of 12 feet (3.6 m) and can reach airspeeds of 45 mph (72 kmh). It can carry two people to a maximum load of 310 lbs (140 kgs).
Aero-X inventor Mark De Roche, an aerospace engineer and Chief Technology Officer for Aerofex Corporation who manufacture the Aero-X, wasn't trying to create a Star Wars Imperial Speeder. He wanted to create a better all-terrain vehicle.
The problem with all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) is that they are not all terrain. You can't go over water, chasms or through swamps.
Needle-less Injection
This future invention is a device for delivering medication and vaccinations through the skin.
A handheld laser creates micro pores in the epidermis of the skin for the transfer of molecules. This injection is portable while using this injection we don't need any supervision. This injection is important for the future.

Cyborg Beetle
Advances in microelectronics is making yesterday's science fiction into tomorrow's future inventions.
Scientists at the University of California have implanted beetles with miniaturized electronics that allows the insects to be controlled.
Research presented at a conference in Italy demonstrated a new technology for creating "cyborg insects".
The flying beetles receive wireless signals from a mobile transmitter that controls the insect. Varying impulses trigger an appropriate response from the beetle so that it flies according to it's handler.
The insect can be made to take-off, land, hover, or follow a given flight path.
Previous research concentrated on moths but giant flower beetles were easier to operate and could carry larger payloads because of their size.
Further advances with nanobots and miniaturization will allow heat sensors and cameras to be embedded into the bugs. The insect could then be used for surveillance or search and rescue missions.

flying robot
This cool invention is a flying robot that imitates a bird. It takes off, lands and flies like a real bird.
This flying robot has a two-meter wingspan, and a lightweight (450 gram) carbon-fiber skeleton body.
It uses hybrid drive technology to simulate the flying characteristics of the Herring Gull. The design imitates the construction and the motion of the wings during flight.
Birds have a down-stroke and a characteristic up-stroke of their wings, but they also twist to change angles for maneuverability and directional control.
The Smart Bird mimics this capability by using a flexible articulated torsion drive that allows the robot to autonomously twist for maximum flight efficiency - just like real birds.
This technical adaptation is quite an accomplishment in aerodynamic engineering. The project also provided innovated research into material construction and energy consumption efficiency.
